I am a fourth-year industrial PhD candidate at BMW Group and a member of the HCI Group at the University of Stuttgart, supervised by Prof. Michael Sedlmair, Dr. Andre Luckow, and Dr. Malin Eiband. I design and study how people interact with AI systems in professional and creative workflows, with a focus on multimodal interaction beyond text-only prompting. My work combines UX research, interaction design, and prototyping to create interfaces that help users express intent more naturally and stay in control across 2D and immersive environments.

About
I design interaction systems for AI-powered tools, multimodal interfaces, and immersive environments. My work combines user research, interaction design, and prototyping to create more intuitive and controllable experiences.
At BMW Group and the University of Stuttgart, I focus on how people express intent, refine outputs, and stay in control when working with generative AI and other complex systems. I am especially interested in workflows where existing interfaces fall short—when text is not enough, when interaction becomes trial-and-error, or when users need more direct ways to communicate with a system.
My goal is to design human-centered AI systems that are not only powerful, but also understandable, trustworthy, and grounded in real user needs.
What I do
Research — understanding how people interpret, control, and work with AI
systems in real contexts.
Design — shaping interaction flows and workflows for AI-assisted and
multimodal systems.
Prototype — building interactive systems to explore, test, and refine ideas
in realistic settings.
My work connects research, design, and implementation to make AI systems more understandable, controllable, and useful in practice.
